. *_Examine_* the *Summary* section of the file system. *_Find_* the values of the following file system attributes:
* File system ID
* Lifecycle state
* Deployment type
* Storage type
* Storage capacity
* Throughput capacity
* Availability Zones
* Creation time

. *_Examine_* the *Network & security* section of the console. *_Click_* the *Network & security* tab. *_Find_* the values of the following file system attributes:
* VPC
* DNS name
* Preferrred File Server IP Address
* Windows Remote PowerShell Endpoint
* KMS key ID
* AWS Managed AD directory ID
* Type

. *_Examine_* the subnet attributes of the console. *_Find_* the values of preferred and standby subnets:
* Subnets
* Availability Zones
* Network interfaces

* How would you find the VPC security groups associated to the file system?
* Hint: *_Click_* the Network interface link of the preferred subnet. From the *Details* tab of the preferred file server's ENI, *_click_* the *view inbound rules* link within the *Security groups* attribute. *_Close_* the browser tab of the *Network interface* console.

* What Amazon CloudWatch metric information is available for the file system?

. *_Examine_* the *Administration* section of the console. *_Click_* the *Administration* tab.
* When is the weekly maintenance window scheduled?
* Amazon FSx for Windows File Server performs routine software patching for the Microsoft Windows Server software it manages. The maintenance window is your opportunity to control what day and time of the week this software patching occurs. Patching occurs infrequently, typically once every several weeks. Patching should require only a fraction of your 30-minute maintenance window. During these few minutes of time, your Single-AZ file system is temporarily unavailable, and Multi-AZ file systems automatically fail over and fail back.

* What's the automatic backup retention period?

* What tags (key/value) pairs are assigned to the file system?
* Add a new tag (key/value) pair. *_Click_* the *[Add]* button and enter a *key* / *value* of your choice (e.g. Environment/Production). *_Click_* the *[Save]* button.
