# Getting the Applications

## Meet our subjects

In order to demonstrate the process, we'll need to get a couple of applications off the internet.

The first one is a nifty little library application made with a typical JavaScript/Java/database stack. You can find it at: <https://github.com/harismuneer/Flight-Booking-System-JavaServlets_App>.

 The purpose of this workshop is to demonstrate results using these two specific applications. You are **not authorized** to scan other applications as the portfolio is not meant to handle them and you won't be able to properly follow the rest of the workflow.

From the Github page, click on the green ***Code*** button and then on *Download ZIP*.

Then unpack the ZIP archive somewhere on your computer.

The second application is an album manager which you can find at <https://github.com/shentar/jAlbum>. Do the same thing with this second app, and we're ready to go.
