## Login to GitLab

If you are a exsiting user [Login in here](https://gitlab.com/users/sign_in)

If you do not already have a GitLab account, you can [register for a free 30 day trial](https://gitlab.com/-/trial_registrations/new).

You can register for an account only if desired; the trial is for full GitLab features for 30 day. After 30 days, a trial will automatically transition to user account so there is no harm in trying out GitLab for free! The instructions below are for trial signup

Choose __Get free trial__

1. Click on the __Register Tab__

2. Enter: __First name__

3. Enter: __Last name__

4. Enter: __Username__

5. Enter: __Email__

6. Enter: __Password__

7. Check the box _(If you agree and Accept the Terms of Service)_

8. (Optionaly) check box if you would like to receive updates via email about GitLab

9. Click _Continue__

Check you email and verify your account

Check your email and __verify__ your account 

1. Enter: __First name__

2. Enter: __Last name__

3. Enter: __Company Name__

4. Enter: __Number of employees__

5. Enter: __Telephone number__

6. Enter: __How many users will be evaluating the trial?__

7. Select: __Country__

8. Choose: __Continue__

The last step is important if you would like to share this trial with other collaborators. 

1. If you would like to invite others then please choose __Create Group__. The group will have ["Gold" status](https://about.gitlab.com/pricing/gitlab-com/feature-comparison/) that includes all features of GitLab enabled. 

2. Choose Yes or No __Is this GitLab trial for your company?__

3. Click __Start your free trial__

You will be sent an email to the email address specified in the "Step 2" from the instructions above. Please check your email and click on the "Confirm your account"
