## Workshop Prerequisites

There are a few prerequisite tasks you must perform before getting started on this workshop. These are:

1. An AWS account with proper permissions - you will be working with [AWS Management Console](https://console.aws.amazon.com) in the browser page
1. A [Github](https://github.com/login) account - prepare and keep it open in the browser page
1. [A LaunchDarkly account or trial account](/030_getting_started/31_setup_ld_account.html), and make sure to keep LaunchDarkly web app open in the browser and *client-side ID* nearby
