To create the visualization, follow these steps from QuickSight analysis dashboard.

## How many total rides today?

This visualization shows the total number of rides takes in the entire park today.

### Step-by-step Instructions ###

1. Click the **Add** dropdown in the top menu bar, choose **Add visual**.
2. Click **Filter** in the *Analysis menu bar*, then choose **Create one...**.
3. Choose **event** from the list. Click *event* and check **Ride**. Choose **Apply** then **Close**.
4. Click **Visualize** in the *Analysis menu bar*.
5. In *Visualization types*, choose **KPI**.
6. Click the *Field Wells* panel to open this section.
7. Drag **rideId** from the *Fields list* to the *Value* box in the *Field wells*.
8. Click the title of the visualization and rename to *How many total rides today?*.

The finished visualization is shown below.
