== Docker Container

. Build Docker image:

  docker image build -t arungupta/print-hello .

. Run Docker container

  docker container run -it -p 8080:8080 -e COUNT=2 arungupta/print-hello

== Kubernetes Pod with environment variable

. Run pod:

  kubectl run app --env="COUNT=2" --image=arungupta/print-hello

== Kubernetes Deployment with ConfigMap

. Create ConfigMap:

  kubectl create configmap hello-count --from-literal=COUNT=2

. Create Pod with ConfigMap

  kuebctl create -f templates/app-pod.yaml
