# Running the workshop at an AWS Event

Only complete this section if you are at an AWS hosted event (such as re:Invent, re:Inforce, Immersion Day or any other event hosted by an AWS employee). The instructions are geared towards using the AWS Workshop Portal which pre-provisions the resources needed to complete the workshop. Please make sure that the AWS employee stated this is how the workshop will be run. If not, then go to [start the workshop on your own](/content/secrets/prerequisites/self_paced/_index.md).
