1. Go to the API Gateway console and select the API created for this module.

2. From the list of resources find the `execution` resource and click on `POST`

3. Click on `Test`
4. At the bottom of the page you will find a field called `Request Body`, paste the following json there and replace the sample `stateMachineArn` with the ARN of your State Machine.

5. Click `Test`.  
6. Look at the `Response Body`. Notice that it includes references to the `executionArn` and the `startDate`. These responses are returned because the State Machine was executed asynchronously.
