## update-motd A simple framework for dynamically generating the Message Of The Day (`motd`) Framework and scripts for producing a dynamically generated Message Of The Day. Based on and compatible with the framework implemented Ubuntu. ### Branches - The `amzn2` branch is what has been built in Amazon Linux 2 - The `al2023` branch is what has been built in Amazon Linux 2023 - The `main` branch is for any general development Any new development should be done on `main` and any bug fixes can be cherry-picked back. ### History The `update-motd` package first shipped with Amazon Linux AMI 2011.9 (now known as Amazon Linux 1) back in 2011.
