# AWS::Rekognition::Collection

The AWS::Rekognition::Collection type creates an Amazon Rekognition Collection. A collection is a logical grouping of information about detected faces which can later be referenced for searches on the group

## Syntax

To declare this entity in your AWS CloudFormation template, use the following syntax:

The name of the collection

An array of key-value pairs to apply to this resource.

## Return Values

### Ref

When you pass the logical ID of this resource to the intrinsic `Ref` function, Ref returns the CollectionId.

### Fn::GetAtt

The `Fn::GetAtt` intrinsic function returns a value for a specified attribute of this type. The following are the available attributes and sample return values.

#### Arn

Returns the <code>Arn</code> value.
